Kevin Love took to Instagram recently to show a picture of him post-surgery after suffering a dislocated left shoulder in game 4 against the Boston Celtics.

Love was injured by the Celtics' big man Kelly Olynyk who pulled down on his arm as the two chased down a rebound. Described to be a "bush league play" by Love, Olynyk maintains that there was no mallice or intent in his actions.

Only a few plays earlier, Love did the exact same thing to Olynyk. Sometimes these injuries just happen out of pure bad luck or a slight tweak the wrong way.

This injury is a major setback for Love who was making his NBA playoffs debut for the first time in his 7th season. He was averaging 14 points to go with 7 rebounds in the 4 games he played. Heartbreaking indeed.

Looking to the future, does Kevin Love have a future with the Cleveland Cavaliers? After the controversy surrounding whether him and LeBron were actually close friends, Love might have his own interests in mind this off season when weighing up the options. Most predict him to return to LA where he played college basketball. Some have mentioned the Rockets as a possible destination and the Mavs are in the hunt to sign him as well. Then again the Mavs are on the hunt to sign just about any big name. Rajon Rondo. Do I need to say more?

A Lakers return seems to be on the cards for Love who isn't quite the same player that he was in Minnesota. This can be attributed to "The LeBron Factor" where every player who is on the court with "King James" suffers a statistical downfall until they change their game to compensate. Just ask Chris Bosh.

Or maybe don't ask Bosh.

Regardless, Love is out for quite some time and he'll definitely be looking for greener pastures next season. Can't imagine him sticking around after being the scapegoat for most of the season.
