Di Maria Saga Finally Over

Manchester United have confirmed that Angel Di Maria, signed just last season, has been sold to Paris St-Germain for a reported £44.3m. The 27-year old scored 4 goals and assisted on 11 throughout all competitions last season and was on the fringes of the swuad towards the end of the season.

My analysis of what this means already came in a previous post, so we'll move right on to Jack Wilshere (or "Wheelchair" as he has since been dubbed), who has suffered yet another injury. While initially Wenger didn't fear that it was a long-term setback, it has been revealed that a hairline fracture in fibula will see him miss the opening 8 weeks of the Premier League season.

This photo is a lot bigger than I wanted it to be, and not just because of formatting problems. The young Englishman has a thorough history of injuries, but when he's finally on the pitch he's scoring goals like these.
