Lamar Odom in Critical Condition

Former NBA player and ex-husband of Khloe Khardashian Lamar Odom has been found unconscious near a brothel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Reports suggest that Odom, 38, was partying for three days straight and was found by staff members with liquid oozing out of his mouth.
Initially Odom was going to be airlifted to Desert View Hospital but instead had to be driven due to height. He is reportedly in critical condition and only breathing with the aid of a machine.
After winning back to back titles with the LA Lakers in 2009 and 2010, Odom bounced between the Clippers and Miami Heat before playing 50 games for the Dallas Mavericks in the 2012/13 season. He was out of shape both physically and mentally, the lavishing lifestyle of Los Angeles something that he had become accustomed to. He went from Sixth Man of the Year in 2010/11 to a garbage time player for the Mavs.
With his NBA career behind him, Odom has been living in the shadows, avoiding too much press coverage following the divorce with Khloe. We wish him all the best and a speedy recovery, it would be increibly depressing to have such person die at such a young age.
