Arsenal have narrowly escaped elimination from the UEFA Champions League with a determined 3-0 away win against Olympiakos.
An Olivier Giroud hat-trick sent the Gunners through to the round of 16 where they can potentially play against Atlético Madrid, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Wolfsburg or Zenit St Petersburg.
After losing their first two Champion's League games, many fans called for Wenger to throw away the European campaign in favour of a domestic trophy.
An uncanny amount of injuries to key personnel suggested that Arsenal would fall short of the comeback, meaning Wenger would have failed to qualify for the elimination round for the first time in 15 years.
In an interesting turn of events, Giroud's hat-trick has meant that he's now scored more goals in the Champion's League than Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp.
